We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and night audit processes. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and information as needed
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring accuracy in reservations and payment processing
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively
- Operate phone systems, taking messages and transferring calls to appropriate departments
- Perform night audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions, preparing reports, and balancing accounts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Skills:
- Previous experience in front desk or night audit roles preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
- Bilingual skills (if applicable) to assist non-English speaking guests
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in hotel management software is a plus
