CPA certification is highly desirable.Proven experience in auditing, specifically within government municipalities.In-depth knowledge of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) principles and regulations.Familiarity with financial management systems used in government entities.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
