The minimum starting pay is $49,889 annually. Starting salary is commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications, up to $62,656.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or related field is required. One to three years of experience is preferred in Accounting, Auditing, or Government Finance; however, candidates with a self-proclaimed interest in developing their audit skills will also be considered. Proficiency in Excel and Word is important, but the position provides opportunities to learn Teammate, and audit maintenance system, and Benchmark, a court docket database that is used throughout the state of Florida.
This opportunity affords the individual scheduled continuing education to obtain meaningful Certifications as a Certified Inspector General Auditor (CIGA), a Certified Inspector General Investigator (CIGI), or a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
