EDP Auditor evaluates data processing systems and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Determines and recommends improvements in current standards and the implementation of system changes. Being an EDP Auditor provides management with results of audits on applications, systems and programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EDP Auditor typically reports to a manager. The EDP Auditor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:
This is an advanced technical level position as an assistant in the tax audit section of the Field Compliance Bureau. An employee in this class will receive formal and on-the-job training to assist higher-level staff in conducting a variety of tax audits. Work involves assisting with audits of company financial records to determine compliance with Missouri’s sales, use, withholding, corporate income, tire & battery, and related tax statutes; researching pertinent case law, statutes and regulations; documenting audit procedures and findings; assisting in other Department Projects and other work as needed. Close supervision is received from a Regulatory Auditor Supervisor or other superior.

After 3 months, with successful production, the Field Compliance Bureau offers a hybrid work options (3 days in the office, 2 days from home). However, you will be required to report to work in the office each week.
