EDP Auditor evaluates data processing systems and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Determines and recommends improvements in current standards and the implementation of system changes. Being an EDP Auditor provides management with results of audits on applications, systems and programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EDP Auditor typically reports to a manager. The EDP Auditor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Description
This position performs the tasks required to determine eligibility for Weatherization services. The Auditor will perform a variety of checks within the residence to improve the energy efficiency and health and safety of the residence. Examples of work to be done include Completing blower-door and pressure pan tests, Inspecting ductwork appropriately, Conducting worse case draft tests on each home with a draft appliance, Inspecting and testing of water heaters and furnaces. This job requires both office computer work and home visits. Computer work will include searching for history of home repairs, creating a scope of work orders after the inspection and other program document. Home visits include manual inspections of crawl spaces and attics.
