EDP Auditor, Sr. jobs in Canton, OH

Mohican will be REOPENING MAY 16TH!  We have been undergoing extensive renovations and are looking to hire for our Summer season.  Training will be given before opening.

Job Summary:
The Night Auditor at Mohican Lodge in Perrysville, Ohio is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and providing exceptional guest service during overnight hours. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the hospitality/restaurant industry.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Night Auditor position at Mohican Lodge offers a competitive salary of $13 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan, paid time off, and employee discounts on lodging and dining at the lodge.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct night audit procedures to balance and verify all hotel revenue, room charges, and credit card transactions
- Prepare and distribute daily reports and summaries for management and accounting departments
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
- Process reservations and room assignments, as needed
- Monitor and respond to guest requests and complaints, escalating issues to management as necessary
- Maintain the accuracy and confidentiality of guest records and financial information
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Follow all safety and security protocols to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in hospitality preferred
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional and positive attitude
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
