Title: Freight Bill Auditor

Work Location: Windham, NH

Job Classification: Full-time

Compensation: $50K-$60K base salary

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end freight bill auditing, which includes identifying discrepancies and resolving disputes.
• Review shipment documentation to confirm invoice accuracy according to negotiated rates and contracts and freight classifications.
• Investigate and diagnose potential errors and duplicate carrier billing.
• Engage in negotiations when required to reach fair settlements and resolve disputes in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and organized record keeping across accounting and operational systems.
• Assist the Senior Pricing Analyst in managing quotes/RFQs by keeping track of all proposals, timeline, deadlines and assist with rating tasks as directed.

• Perform ad-hoc reporting or other job-related duties, as required.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience with freight classifications, commodities, and invoicing.
• A degree in supply chain, logistics, finance, or accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of essential freight documentation and ability to interpret tariffs and contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (i.e., phone, video, email).
• Ability to persuade via verbal and written communication.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office and Teams, GSuite, etc.) and the ability to learn and navigate industry-based software.
• The ability to cope with pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Proven experience at working well independently and collaboratively with a team.
