    SUMMARY:
    This position provides administrative support in Office of EEO/AA and primarily supports the Chief, EEO/AA.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Perform administrative tasks for the Chief, EEO/AA including research, and composition of correspondence and reports.
    • Proactively manage Chief. EEO/AA’s busy calendar with a strong understanding of shifting and regular priorities.
    • Manage correspondence received, screen material to determine the need for the Chief, EEO/AA’s attention and coordinate actions and activities for responses. Compose letters and memos, and route or answer correspondence on behalf of Chief, EEO/AA. Maintain electronic correspondence filing system.
    • Arrange and manage staff’s business travel and reconcile travel expense reports.
    • Coordinate with internal support staff on referrals, reports, projects, information requests, etc.
    • Coordinate and provide logistical support for special projects and initiatives as needed.
    • Manage bi-weekly timecard approvals for the Office of EEO/AA staff.
    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related area and three (3) years of increasingly responsible office administration experience with an emphasis in executive office administration. One (1) year of closely related experience can be substituted for each year of education required.
    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
    • Strong verbal, written, and follow-through skills required.
    • Additional skills required include the following: deadline-oriented; ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize; discretion with confidential materials; and being a team player.
    • Strong working knowledge of Outlook, Oracle, Kronos, and P-Card usage preferred.
    • Experience working with outside agencies also ideal.
    • Flexibility with working hours required.
