ASSIGNMENTUnder the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, perform a variety of technical and confidential duties related to the day-to-day functioning of The District Equal Opportunity Employment (EEO) program, including recruitment, professional development, and preparing and maintaining records and reports related to the EEO plan and program; communicate with a variety of individuals to answer questions, and to provide and exchange information related to policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIESPerform confidential secretarial and clerical work in support of The District Equal Opportunity Employment (EEO) program. Including but not limited to, preparing agendas and taking and transcribing minutes of related committees.Support the recruitment process. Prepare and post position announcements for current and anticipated job openings, assist with various modes of advertising, and participate in the screening committee process as an EEO representative.Research, recommend, and participate in professional development training topics related to the EEO Program and plan.Collect and prepare data related to EEO.Provides information and assistance to the department regarding related program services, requirements, and operations.Other related duties as assigned.
