Seeking skilled Peer Specialists to support individuals enrolled in substance use services. Candidates for this position will serve as role models, exhibit competency in understanding personal recovery and the use of relapse prevention and coping skills.
Preferred Candidates: Must have Certified Recovery Peer Advocate - Provisional certificate (CRPA). High School Graduate/Equivalency. An individual does not need to be in recovery him/herself, but must be able to confer empathy through lived experiences. One year of Health or Human Service experience preferred. Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License and pass background clearance for use of agency vehicles.
