Being a EEO Trainer designs and tracks metrics to measure the effectiveness of training on the workforce. May be responsible for working with outside vendors to deliver training. Additionally, EEO Trainer requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Position Summary:
The primary purpose the Housekeeping Trainer position is to assist in running the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility and as may be directed by the Housekeeping Management to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Training and development of housekeeping staff.
· Coordinates work assignments.
· Inspect completed work to ensure it is up to Sand Valley standard.
· Responsible for keeping team encouraged and motivated.
· Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service.
· Perform job duties of housekeeper as needed.
· Ensure all staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties.
· Communicate and enforce policies, procedures.
· Perform other duties as appropriate.
Qualifications:
· High school preferred.
· 1-year applicable custodial experience
· Valid Driver’s License
· Demonstrated quality interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision;
· Work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
· Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
· Attention to detail and skilled organization
· Strong supervisory skills, ability to designate responsibilities.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Basic computer knowledge
Working Conditions:
Typical resort/hotel type setting. This individual may be exposed from time to time to inclement weather; potentially dangerous pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers; equipment movement hazards; misdirected golf balls.Injury may result because of exposure to the above if safety policies and practices are not properly always followed.
Physical Requirements:
Must have the ability to:
· Read and write (English)
· Communicate verbally with staff members with or without the use of two-way radios.
· Give and/or follow verbal and written instructions
· Visually inspect all work areas
· Operate vehicles and equipment for several hours at a time
· Perform mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
· Retrieve, read and interpret information from technical sources
· Stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time
· Lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly
