EEO Trainer designs and delivers diversity training programs and workshops to employees and managers. Develops diversity training curriculum and monitors changes in governmental laws and regulation to ensure that training stays current. Being a EEO Trainer designs and tracks metrics to measure the effectiveness of training on the workforce. May be responsible for working with outside vendors to deliver training. Additionally, EEO Trainer requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EEO Trainer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     JOB DESCRIPTION:


    Starting Pay Rate: $64,480 - $72,090/Annually, DOE

    Under the direction of the Director of Training and Development, the Trainer coordinates and facilitates training and development programs for all levels of Team Members for the Chumash Enterprise.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:



    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

    Experience:

    • Three years’ experience working in operations in a hospitality, gaming, or related field.
    • One year experience facilitating adult instructional training and development programs and/or in a supervisory or management position.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Bilingual preferred specifically in Spanish and/or Tagalog language.
    • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, rules, procedures, and administration is required.
    • Ability to present and facilitate training programs to diverse audiences, demonstrating the ability to motivate, educate, and train others.
    • Proven ability to effectively work within a team.
    • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with outside agencies, vendors, other team members, and leadership.
    • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications, e-mail and Internet.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent presentation skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.
    • Exceptional detail and follow-up skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Able to effectively establish priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Multi-task oriented.
    • Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
    • Ability to work varied shifts in support of a 24-hour business operation and training needs including be flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays when necessary.
    • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
    • Native American hiring preference applies.
