EEO Trainer designs and delivers diversity training programs and workshops to employees and managers. Develops diversity training curriculum and monitors changes in governmental laws and regulation to ensure that training stays current. Being a EEO Trainer designs and tracks metrics to measure the effectiveness of training on the workforce. May be responsible for working with outside vendors to deliver training. Additionally, EEO Trainer requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EEO Trainer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Join our Sports Outreach Team and work with our orthopedic and sports medicine providers along with other disciplines within the OSF Ministry. This role is primarily 1st shift with some 2nd shift hours, which includes a shift differential and overtime pay when appropriate as we value work life balance.     Expected pay for this position is $24.61 - $28.96/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity

     

    This position also includes an evening shift differential of $2.25/hour

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Athletic Trainer provides athletic training services to OSF stakeholders, including organizations and schools.  Assists with operational functions and patient care for OSF HealthCare providers. Working in collaboration with the physician and care team, focuses on the prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of injuries incurred by athletes. Supports the provider in the clinical care of the athlete or patient and may help facilitate alignment within OSF.  May contribute to the development of community program objectives for the health promotion, wellbeing, and education of athletes, patients, and their support systems. 


    Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree from accredited athletic training program
    • Athletic trainer licensure in current state
    • Current American Heart Association BLS required prior to start date of employment
    • Ability to travel to assigned work locations
    • National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATA BOC) within 90 days of hire
    • Other Skills: Basic computer skills and experience with online documentation

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Education: Post graduate degree
    • Certification: Strength and Conditioning
