EHR Application Analyst plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Being an EHR Application Analyst may be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EHR Application Analyst requires EPIC Certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The EHR Application Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Position Summary
The purpose of this role is primary oversight and governance and SME level knowledge for IT supported applications. Includes in-depth understanding of the business processes end to end as well as working understanding of application processes, tables, interfaces, and integrations. Supporting both on site and remote infrastructure, troubleshooting and solving technical issues.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and excellent skills to ensure the efficient operation of our IT systems and applications. The role involves overseeing a diverse set of technologies and collaborating with various stakeholders.
