EHR Application Analyst plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Being an EHR Application Analyst may be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EHR Application Analyst requires EPIC Certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The EHR Application Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The System Analyst – Applications maintains report writing functions and is responsible for effective production of reports necessary to meet the end user needs, according to approved projects of Mountain Management Services’ Information Systems Strategic Plan and approved budget.
Required Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in computer-related field preferred; or, one year of additional training at the college/trade school level in a computer-related field with equivalent experience in lieu of formal education.

Minimum of 2 years IDX GPMS experience.
