EHR Application Analyst plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Being an EHR Application Analyst may be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EHR Application Analyst requires EPIC Certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The EHR Application Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Our HIT analysts share a vision of providing outstanding technical support services with the to the EHC staff, helping to ensure the successful utilization and operations of the EMR software. Successful HIT analysts thrive in collaborative working environments with the result of helping to strategically implement operational workflows, conduct thorough data analysis, and assist with user administration, training and support documentation related to Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Our HIT analysts work closely with EHC leadership to leverage potential key or “super” users within clinic locations with the goal of creating strong on site specialist that help create internal self-support resources for EPIC training and troubleshooting.
