EHR Application Analyst plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Being an EHR Application Analyst may be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EHR Application Analyst requires EPIC Certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The EHR Application Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. SALARY: $28 - $37 per hour, DOE
SUMMARY: The EHR Support Analyst (ESA) Level l possesses an understanding of Epic and health center operations. The ESA l is responsible for supporting the ESA Level ll with EHR system maintenance, overall success of the EHR support, and assists with the training and knowledge transfer and Super Users and end users.
