EHR Application Analyst plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Being an EHR Application Analyst may be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EHR Application Analyst requires EPIC Certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Summary:
Under general direction of Director Information Technology, participates in and coordinates the design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of automated and manual Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This includes system configuration, process automation, reporting and analytics. Primarily collaborates with and supports business owners from Human Resources, Education, Finance, Payroll, and Supply Chain to identify and troubleshoots issues with the ERP system.

Responsibilities:
1. Acts as Technical Subject Matter Expert for one or more business owners – Education, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources and/or Payroll. Able to work independently to implement and maintain ERP systems.
2. Has responsibility for business systems analysis, workflow analysis, and technical communications. Collaborates with Business Owner to identify and troubleshoots issues with the ERP system. Obtains input and feedback on system needs from appropriate parties to identify opportunities to develop technical solutions including process automation, Birst reports and dashboards.
3. Participates in the development of and maintenance of complex Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to move data. Responsibilities include design, code, test, production deployment, and support of the ETL workflow. Responsible for configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of ETL processes.
4. Responsible for implementation, modification, maintenance and support of business application programs. Works closely with clients to troubleshoot and correct problems relating to applications and assists with conversions to and implementations of software products.
5. Uses operational expertise to seek out, research and evaluate a variety of solutions to provide clients with high quality, efficient products.
6. Creates database reports from end user requests/requirements for developing reports. May also train end users in report tool functions. Birst and SQL programming knowledge preferred.
7. Gathers information on processes, organizational structure, policies and procedures, and computer technology.
8. Monitors system performance and makes modifications or adjustments as necessary.
9. Evaluates internal controls and security of new and existing applications to ensure adherence to auditing standards; monitors the procurement, development, and implementation of those systems to ensure proper integration with other IT systems.
Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.

Previous Experience Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
2-4 years of previous experience with Infor Cloudsuite, SQL and Birst preferred.
Previous experience with Supply Chain, Finance, HR and/or Learning Management systems or workflows preferred.
Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
SKILLS:
Language Skills – Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.
KNOWLEDGE:
Infor CloudSuite required.
Birst Reporting required.
SQL programming knowledge preferred.
