EHR Application Analyst plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Being an EHR Application Analyst may be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EHR Application Analyst requires EPIC Certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The EHR Application Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Position Overview:

    The Application Developer will be responsible for analyzing the processes in the company, designing customized solutions within the Heroku platform. This position will also analyze project objectives, create workflows, and troubleshoot errors. The person in this role should have extensive experience working with the Heroku platform, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. This role will be expected to create dynamic and scalable Heroku solutions that meet the changing needs of the company. Although this role can be remote, the expectation is the person will work east coast time.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain subject matter expert of Heroku skillset.
    • Develop and maintain scalable applications on the Heroku platform.
    • Optimize app performance through effective dyno management and Heroku metrics.
    • Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to app deployment and runtime.
    • Integrate third-party services and manage databases with Heroku Postgres.
    • Collaborate with the development team to create innovative cloud-based solutions.
    • Designing, coding, and implementing Heroku applications.
    • Creating timelines and development goals.
    • Maintaining the security and integrity of the Heroku platform.

    Job Requirements:

    • Proven experience with Heroku CLI and buildpacks
    • Strong background in database management, specifically with PostgreSQL
    • Familiarity with implementing CI/CD pipelines on Heroku
    • Proficiency in dyno management and app performance optimization
    • Solid understanding of Heroku add-ons and marketplace integrations
    • Certifications in Heroku or cloud-based technologies
    • Advanced knowledge of app security best practices within the Heroku environment
    • Minimum 4 years of Heroku design and development experience
    • Familiar with SOQL queries for data retrieval and testing
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to learn quickly, be organized and detail oriented
    • Deadline oriented
    • Ability to multitask
    • Familiar with working in a matrix environment
    • Analytical Skills
    • Knowledge of web coding including PostgreSQL and JSON
    • Familiarity with large datasets
    • Ability to liaison with non programmers

    Salary Range: $119,864.60 - $159,819.28

    Annual Bonus Potential: 10%
