EHR Application Analyst, Sr. plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Being an EHR Application Analyst, Sr. may be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EHR Application Analyst, Sr. requires EPIC Certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The EHR Application Analyst, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. SUMMARY:
Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently seeking Information Technology (IT) professionals to join our team as a EHR Support Analyst/Trainer! This position will work full-time 40 hours per week on Monday through Friday. This is benefit eligible and will enjoy evenings, weekends, and major holiday's off.
The EHR Support Analyst/Trainer I performs research, assessments, testing, documentation, training, and maintenance of the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. Works as part of a team to provide training and support to all EHR users. Communicates effectively with other areas and participates in the continual improvement of EHR operations by developing protocols, proposals, and recommendations.
