Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time IT Clinical Application Analyst to join the Information Technology team in the Fort Myers, FL area. We are looking for a new team member who is positive, energetic, well-organized, can multi-task, and think outside of the box. The Clinical Applications Analyst will troubleshoot, design, build and test new and existing clinical applications. The Clinical Applications Analyst will work in conjunction with the Integration Team ensuring a seamless integration of EMR and other clinical applications to the MPG clinical applications before, during, and after an acquisition. The Clinical Applications Analyst will work closely with the acquisitions practices to analyze how existing EMR and other clinical applications are used to ensure appropriate integration of systems. The Clinical Applications Analyst must have a strong understanding of ambulatory clinical workflows and processes in a complex clinical environment. The position will also require ongoing education, attendance at meetings and training to keep abreast of new software and hardware product developments This position reports to the Clinical Applications Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensure seamless integration of EMRs and other clinical applications for acquisition practices
• Analyze acquisition practice workflows to integrate into MPG workflows
• Collaborate with the Integrations team to collect and analyze the data needed to migrate clinical data, demographics, appointments, etc.
• Main point of contact during acquisitions for integration questions and issues
• Troubleshoot, design, build, and test new and existing clinical applications
• Proactively analyze operational processes and data to identify opportunities for improving existing process for workflow optimization
• Analyze current workflows and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, and system specification needs or issues
• Recognized subject matter expert for assigned clinical application and may manage special projects for applications teams aimed at advancing the customer experience, reporting, and overall work and data flow through the system
• Work with other departments to create training materials for end users
• Collaborate with multiple teams, including but not limited to, EMR Training, Learning and Development, TIS Clinical Systems and TIS Integration
• Provide support during Go Lives and system upgrades
• Maintains advanced knowledge of current operational workflows
• May be on-call after normal business hours
• Travel may be required

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3 years of hands on EMR and other clinical applications experience. Strong knowledge of multi-specialty physician office business practices, clinical workflows, concepts and terminology sufficient to integrate, implement and support IT clinical applications. Clinical background is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

CMA, RMA, RN or LPN preferred.
