Job Title: Viewpoint Vista Application Specialist
Reports to: IT Director
FLSA Status: Exempt

• The Hoffman Companies is comprised of five main companies who utilize four different ERP systems.
• Hoffman Building Technologies (HBT) and Hoffman Mechanical Solutions (HMS) both currently use Viewpoint by Trimble.
• The Business Analyst is a new role we are adding for both HBT and HMS to:
  • Be responsible to be our local expert for the ERP system.
  • Work with ERP users to both create and improved reporting for financial, operations, and executive functions.
  • Lead project management for:
    • software upgrades and improvements.
    • Integration with other systems and software.
  • Assist with evaluations of Viewpoint and potential replacement of the Viewpoint.
  • Coordinate and lead training.
  • Coordinate and lead process improvement activities.
• Contribute to Team Effort by leading by example; initiating an open and positive attitude; coordinating all the above tasks for the company in a professional manner.

• 2 years of experience with Viewpoint Vista required.
• Minimum 3 years in an Application Specialist or similar role.
• General knowledge of both accounting principles and practices and basic ERP structure.
• Willingness to learn new ERP systems and related software.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with limited supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and build relationships with all levels of fellow employees.
• Ability to convey information effectively and clearly both in both verbal and written form.
• Must be reliable, responsible, dependable, and fulfilling of obligations.
• Must be detail oriented, results oriented and able to embrace and adapt to change.
• Ability to deliver high customer service and lead by example.
