EHR Application Analyst, Sr. plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Being an EHR Application Analyst, Sr. may be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EHR Application Analyst, Sr. requires EPIC Certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The EHR Application Analyst, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. Application Support Analyst

  • The Application Support Analyst I acts as an intermediary between the business community and the technical community providing support services to ensure the effective and secure operation of enterprise software applications. This position provides tier-2 support for application issues, working with technology partners to determine root-cause and affect resolution in a timely manner, keeping business partners informed, and setting expectations. The Application Support Analyst I provide support for the university’s student information system (SIS) Perceptive Content, Informer, Business Objects Web Intelligence, Workday, etc. May function as an application subject matter expert with business partners and technical community.
     

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provides troubleshooting of escalated service tickets and requests and provide quick resolution
    • Delivers administrative services for installed enterprise software solutions, including, but not limited to user privileges and global parameter maintenance.
    • Partners with business and technology partners to troubleshoot and resolve software and data issues.
    • Reviews and tests new functionality, patches, and releases prior to deployment.
    • Documents departmental procedures and decisions in knowledgebase.
    • Provides training to peers, technology partners, and business partners as necessary to ensure proper understanding and use of systems.
    • Acts as a subject matter expert with business partners and technical community.
    • Provide quality customer service to staff and faculty.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Job duties and responsibilities can change at any time, with or without notice.
       

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Customer service
    • Problem solving and analytical skills. Possess a great attention to detail
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products.
    • Excellent collaborative skills, work with software engineers and business partners to identify impacts and resolutions
    • Understanding of database systems, integration, design and reporting functionality.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows, CRM, SharePoint, ServiceNow.
