    GET TO KNOW THE ROLE

    The Application Support Analyst will perform technical and skilled duties in the operation of enterprise, client/server and desktop computer systems and networks. The position will provide technical support for multiple on-premises, cloud, and peripheral equipment on enterprise computing systems. The position will work on a project team and individually.   

    The IT Application Support Analyst will support software systems that reach across multiple casino and resort operational areas and technical platforms that includes the technical installation, training, support as well as administration and troubleshooting support of windows platforms and SQL servers. Industry specific knowledge of products such as SG CMP, SDS, Inform HMS, InfoGenesis, Everi, Red Rock, applications experience desired.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR).
    • Provide leadership and mentoring to other IT Application Support Analyst, and IT Support Technicians including Coordinating and reviewing the work of others, training, and coaching.
    • Facilitating problem solving through best practices.
    • Resolve complex hardware and software malfunctions.
    • Schedule and facilitate end user training.
    • Schedule and facilitate application testing and validation.
    • Integrate and interface hardware or software.
    • Make technical presentations internally and to outside departments.
    • Determine performance, capacity, and utilization for system components.
    • Assist in planning migrations to new or improved hardware and software products.
    • Monitor application changes and additions to the systems.
    • Monitor service levels.
    • Monitor vendor remote access.
    • Monitor access of secure IT locations to ensure IT policies and procedures are followed.
    • Research new or updated technology.
    • Act as liaison between IT Operations and other functional units for escalation purposes.
    • Create, maintain, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promote positive team member relations and reports issues to appropriate personnel.
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    • A Bachelor’s degree (Preferred in Engineering, IS or Technical Degree).
    • Three (3) years of on-the-job experience in a technical field.
    • PMP Certification preferred.
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/ Black Belt preferred.

    WHAT TO EXPECT 

    • Availability – Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site, primarily Monday – Friday, dayshift. Some holidays, weekends, and nights may be required to support a 24/7 operation. Must maintain on-call rotation.
    • Physical – Ability to maneuver in all areas of the casino, ascent/descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May regularly need to lift/ move, push or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance.
    • Environment – Exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) while working and traversing on the gaming floor.
