We are searching for an Application Specialist to join our agency.

The IT Application Specialist works closely with business users and software vendors in conjunction with the IT staff to assist with design, implementation, documentation and maintenance of a subset of application software such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and UKG/Kronos Timekeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Provide user and technical support to CFDS users for a subset of supported software applications
• Coordinate and test new applications, software enhancements, upgrades, patches and fixes
• Develop training material and conduct training of end-users on new or enhanced software functionality and/or procedural changes when needed
• Create and maintain technical application documents and user documentation for all supported software

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field required (4 years of relevant experience would be considered in lieu of an Associates degree); Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of database concepts and reporting capabilities
• Proven ability to document application functionality such as user documentation or training manuals
• Ability to train employees in use of applications
• Knowledge of project management processes and ability to lead small projects related to application support
