TITLE: Sr. Application Development Analyst - EDI
JOB LOCATION: 350 Campus Drive, Marlborough, MA 01752
DUTIES: The Sr. Application Development Analyst- EDI is responsible for providing analytical and programming support for our marketing and membership solutions team. Additional responsibilities include: Participate in system requirements gathering, design, coding and related technical tasks; including writing program specifications and design documents for relational databases and transactions services using a standard Project Life Cycle methodology Writing mainframe programs according to department standards and performing appropriate unit and systems tests; Analyze and tune system performance; Prepare process and other documentation as required; Analyze BJ's current maps and validate the vendor needs.
Work to use the BJ's SAP systems and set up these vendors in the system
Send BJ's EDI specifications to Vendor - EDI Profile setup documentation/questionnaire
Set up Vendor in BJ's Systems / Applications
Test EDI documents with Vendor
Troubleshoot the Transactions if errors/issues which may come up during testing
Coordinate implementation into production

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related or foreign equivalent, plus 5 years as a Software Developer; plus 5 years experience with full life cycle testing, ANSI X12, 4010, 810, 850, 820 transaction formats, EDI map development, SAP IDOC structures, PO, INVOICE, XML, develop EDI files in Ultra Edit and EDI Notepad, EDI implementation, GXS Biz Manager, Application Integrator, GXS Trade Guide, Inovis TLE Ops Center, GXS Trading Grid, TLE workbench, Sterling B2b Integrator, IBM Sterling Map editor, Dell Boomi, Clarify studio, Cleo VL Trader, Cleo Integration Cloud.
