EHR Database Report Writer is responsible for data administration, analysis and management reporting from EHR (electronic health record) database. Collaborates with end users to understand reporting requirements and uses Clarity or similar report writer software to create a variety of simple to complex reports using Structured Query Language (SQL) queries. Being an EHR Database Report Writer typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty, Epic/Cerner or similar certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Field Software Engineer/Biomedical Technician - Kansas City, MO

    Position Description:

    Our Field Software Engineers/Biomedical Technicians & Early Entry Candidates experience a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology.

    You will be responsible for software upgrades, installations, and troubleshooting medical devices in a hospital with the support of an on-site team. The current product line being supported is an infusion pump device.

    This is a great opportunity for you to advance your technical and leadership /skills! Experience in healthcare, field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, customer service, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT is beneficial for this position.

    Job Requirements:

    · A Biomedical and/or a Computer Engineer background is preferred

    · An active, unrestricted and valid driver license and reliable transportation is required for this position

    · Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system as well as experience with excel spreadsheets

    · Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices

    · Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time

    Responsibilities:

    · Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices, installing and configuring hardware, software, and network products.

    · Set-up and organization of equipment and workstations.

    · Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation and configuration.

    · Oversee a team of support staff, manage project timelines and customer needs.

    · Per-diem position requiring local travel within Kansas City, with potential overnight travel specific to initial training classes

    · Assignment length is approximately 30 weeks with potential to extend

    · 35-40 hrs. per week based on client needs

    Hourly rate will be between $30-$35 based on level of experience

    Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated.

    The potential base pay range for this role is $27.00-$30.00 per hour.
