Employees must establish a residence in Washington State within 30 days of their first day of employment and must maintain a residence in Washington State during their employment with PSW.  If a position is eligible to telework, work performed while teleworking must be performed in Washington State.

Summary / Objective: This position is responsible for helping the business leverage data and identify opportunities for improvement, spot trends and recognize potential issues while offering solutions. The work is aimed towards improving efficiency, increasing productivity, assisting in data driven decision making, and identifying actionable data for use in business workflow processes.  The ideal candidate will have experience with requirements gathering, testing, validation, and supporting customers with user acceptance testing. This position will also partner with a Business Analyst on gathering and refining requirements, and work closely with customers who may have limited technical knowledge.

Essential Functions:

• Learn and fully understand the data landscape in databases and applications with the ability to acquire data from primary or secondary data sources.
• Use and develop data collection processes including the review and validation of data and data sets.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for various systems, services, and business processes including reporting procedures.
• Communicate insights to management and the executive team across the organization, including trends and patterns in complex data sets.
• Experience with SQL and database designs of medium to high complexity including the ability to write and maintain SQL queries and reports. This includes strong experience with SSRS, knowledge of database administration activities, and collaboration with the DBA.
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL
• Ensures compliance with PSW policies and procedures with special emphasis on compliance with HIPAA requirements.
• Ability to build and leverage cross-functional collaborative relationships to facilitate a team-work oriented atmosphere to achieve company goals.
• Continually reviews assigned areas of responsibility and gives suggestions to department head on how to enhance services/products. 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:         

·         Experience with SSRS, PowerBI, and SQL programming language

·         Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts including the ability to manipulate raw data into meaningful, objective information.

·         Proactive team player, strong follow-through, quick but thorough decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

·         Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels. 

·         Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation) with both external and internal customers.

·         Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills; ability to function within a rapid time period without compromising on work quality.

·         Self-starter. Ability to prioritize given changing conditions and keep to projected schedules.

·         Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
