EHR Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Join our team as a dynamic Compliance and EHR Coordinator! As a key member, you will be entrusted with the pivotal responsibility of maintaining and customizing our agency's two Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Your role will involve researching, identifying, and recommending process enhancements to our esteemed treatment team. You will be part of clinical audits, distill findings into actionable insights, and champion process improvements.
Your Responsibilities:
- Tailor EHR systems to align with the unique needs of our programs, ensuring optimal functionality and usability.
- Offer hands-on assistance and troubleshooting to EHR users, ensuring seamless operation and user satisfaction.
- Maintain adherence to HIPAA, CMS, CARF, and Ohio Administrative Code requirements, safeguarding patient privacy and data integrity.
- Coordinate and participate in audits to validate data accuracy, manage revisions, and rectify critical discrepancies.
- Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clinicians and managers across departments to support and implement process enhancement initiatives.
- Engage in Quality Assurance committee activities and prepare for audits and surveys to uphold industry standards.
- Regularly monitor regulatory standards, technological advancements, and industry updates to enhance functionality and ensure future compliance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive workflow documentation to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Deliver training sessions and facilitate meetings to ensure effective utilization of EHR systems and foster continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field, with 3-5 years of experience in the behavioral health field.
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) Systems; proficiency in CareLogic and Methasoft is a plus.
- LSW or LPC is highly preferred.
