EHR Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, efficiently prioritizing and completing all responsibilities within the IS Department according to established Standard Operating Procedures.

    Data Management and Reporting:
    • Utilizes various methods to collect and communicate data to other departments within the organization, as required on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

    Data Security:

    Information System Management:
    • Enters, updates, resets, or retrieves employee data using various information systems as needed.
    • Supports and maintains Payer Portals.
    • Manages IS Help Desk tickets.
    • Assists KanTIme (EHR) users with tasks such as password resets, profile setup, reports, and system functionality.

    Problem-Solving and Training:
    • Exhibits a high level of patience, a pleasant demeanor, and strong problem-solving skills.
    • Possesses the ability to educate others on the effective use of various systems.

    Multitasking and Adaptability:
    • Detail-oriented with the capacity to multitask effectively, adapting to daily fluctuations and volume surges.
    • Collaborates across teams to support the IT Department with special projects.

    • Keeps up to date with evolving technologies by attending meetings, webinars, and ongoing educational opportunities.

    Position Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3 years experience with EHRs.
    • 1-year Home Health HER preferred.

    • Ability to navigate through multiple systems or environments efficiently and accurately.
    • Intermediate/Advanced Excel Skills preferred; Basic Excel Skills required.
