EHR Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Job Description

    Lead and ensure projects are achieved in a timely manner and secures required resources, budgets, manage risks and changes. This position reports to the Facilities/Maintenance Manager.

    Your Role

    • Work with stakeholders and steering group to define Project Scope, Requirements, Business Objectives, Project Objectives and Budget. Write documents needed for investment appropriations request.
    • Create, develop, and execute the Project Plan according to Project Charter (or equivalent).
    • Allocate and secure resources for the project.
    • Ensure efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources.
    • Execute projects according to Alleima Project models and appropriate methods.
    • Lead, manage and motivate the project team.
    • Manage dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
    • Follow-up and report on project status (cost, time/progress, quality etc.).
    • Communicate effectively with project team and stakeholders.
    • Manage changes to the project scope imposed by customer or steering group decisions.
    • Train and coach project team members
    • Take action to ensure project completion within the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
    • Hand-over projects deliverables to the receiving organization(s)

    About You

    We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related discipline and experience in project management.

    Candidates should also possess:

    • 5 years experience in manufacturing.
    • 3 years experience in formal project management
    • Certification as a project management professional (PMP) is a plus.

    What you can expect from us

    The salary range for this position is $88,300 to $132,400 annually with a 10% annual bonus and annual merit eligibility.

    Additional elements of the compensation package include medical, dental, vision insurance as well as company paid disability and life insurance. We offer paid time off, 11 paid holidays a year and a 401 (K) retirement savings plan that has a 5% company contribution with company match of 50% for the first 6% you invest.
