EHR Project Manager jobs in New York, NY

EHR Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Grants Management
    • Manage or assist the preparation and submission grant applications, progress reports, and required documentation.
    • Manage post award requirements.
    • Ensure grants compliance with regulatory, fiduciary and programmatic requirements.

    • Manage grant activities timelines and deliverables.
    • Develop, prepare, and monitor budgets in collaboration with the Healthcare Grants & Financial Analyst.
    • Serve as the department liaison with Project Officers and Grants Management Specialists.
    • Prepare and participate in grant audits. Optimize the grant administration process.
    • Work in collaboration with the Development team, Chief Medical Officer and Senior Director of Clinical Operations to opportunities for funding.
    Financial and Accounting Management
    • Monitor all grant-related per expenditures and drawn downs in collaboration with the Healthcare Grants & Financial Analyst.
    • Collaborate with finance team to track and analyze financial data to ensure expenditures align with budgets monthly.
    • Manage the healthcare personnel salary tracker in collaboration with the Healthcare Grants & Financial Analyst.
    Board Meeting
    • Prepare agenda and documents for all board meeting and healthcare committee meeting.
    • Ensure compliance with grants regulations and requirements in board meeting.
    Qualifications:
    • Associates degree.
    • Minimum two (2) years knowledge of HRSA, Ryan White, private and NYS DOH grants management experience.
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
    • Excellent, verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong time management, multi-tasking, organization, scheduling skills
    • Strong customer service / relationship management skills
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree
    All newly hired Project Renewal staff must provide verification of being fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
