EHR Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Job Summary:
    Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. The Project Manager plans and designates project resources, prepares budgets, monitors progress, and keeps stakeholders informed along the way.

    Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
    • Determine and define project scope and objectives
    • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
    • Manage internal, external and cross-functional teams
    • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
    • Review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance
    • Track project costs in order to meet budget; responsible for P&L
    • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
    • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
    • Manage relationship with clients and communicate expected deliverables
    • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
    • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
    • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    General
    • Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field or a related field
    • 5 years of project management and related experience
    • 3 years of experience supervising and managing personnel, including project support staff
    • 5 years of experience in telecommunications or a related industry
    • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
    • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
    • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
    Technical
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Experience with project management software tools
    • Advanced experience with MS Excel, Visio, and Google Earth

    Desired Skills & Qualifications:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
    • Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members’ capabilities and skill sets
    • Experience in construction quality management and assurance, including testing, special inspection, permitting, and system commissioning
    • Experience working on projects involving design permitting and construction
    • Working knowledge of drafting systems (CAD, Microstation, etc.)
