Apis Services Inc. is currently hiring for a EHR Specialist.

The EHR Specialist provides project management and training for designated affiliate implementations as well as ongoing support as issues occur. This position will assist in the implementation, training, data migration, forms adaptation/design and ongoing end-user issue tracking, resolution, and reporting. This position reports to the EHR Manager and will work remote.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implementation and support of EHR domains
• Policy and procedures covering all aspects of system use, privacy, security, continuity, and disaster recovery as required for each affiliate.
• Effectively maintain administration of domain
• Prepare and deliver reports and recommendations through data analytics to include root cause analysis.
• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improvements.
• Effectively conduct New Hire, End User, and Administrative Trainings.
• Ensure effective day-to-day monitoring of EHR support queue while meeting the EHR SLAs.
• Assist with complex development and implementation projects.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, with the most stringent attention to complying with all governmental and HIPPA man-dated patient confidentiality regulations.
• Customer satisfaction through building healthy internal and external customer relationships.
• Participate in a minimum of eight (8) hours of annual training.
• Actively demonstrates positive behavior supportive of the organization.
• Special projects as assigned by the EHR Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent project management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of business intelligence, data analytics and decision support tools.
• Holds all company and employee information at the highest level of confidentiality.
• High level of computer literacy with spreadsheets and word processing.
• Accepts and adapts to change as directed; understands change is a constant and necessary path for improvement.
• Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers.
