Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager, Sr. sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager, Sr. resolves any development issues or team member performance issues. Prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. This position will report to the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Health Sciences Executive Vice President and Health System CEO. This person will be an integral part of the core team working collaboratively on various projects at the EVP HSC office. This may include short- or long-term projects within any academic units or other programs or centers at the UNM HSC.
This position actively participates in building strong relationships across UNM Main campus in addition to UNM Health Sciences and UNM Health Systems by engaging in communicative, collaborative, and respectful relationships with those serving in leadership roles. This position also manages special projects, including matters involving University officials and community leaders.
The Sr. Project Manager manages and coordinates the establishment and support of programs and/or projects of significance to the operation and administration of a major, key operating component of the University and provides project management of HSC EVP initiatives, ensuring that developing and existing programs are effective and in conformance with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
