Job Summary – Sr. Project Manager
Valiant Energy Service (VES) is actively seeking an engaged, experienced and disciplined Project Manager for immediate employment in the Allentown, PA Operations Center. The position reports to the President of Transmission and Distribution Operations.
As a member of our project management team, you will oversee all aspects of assigned distribution & transmission utility projects from commencement to completion. You will manage these projects in a manner that exceeds our customers’ expectations and ensures that our work adheres to all company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements.

Responsibilities
• Manage all financial aspects of projects through the use of ongoing job forecasting.
• Attend pre-construction meetings to ensure a successful hand-off from Estimating to field personnel.
• Develop project schedules: assign cost and manpower to the schedule and provide cash and manpower forecasting on a weekly basis.
• Track projects: break estimates apart by tasks and track the man-hours associated with the tasks from project start up to completion.
• Develop budgets for projects; assist in the preparation of technical proposals, including in the design and writing the scope of work, management plan, work sequence, safety, quality control, and commissioning.
• Assist with negotiating and resolving all customer concerns.
• When necessary, estimate change orders for assigned projects.
• Manage all job closeout procedures.
• Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement.
• Develop and maintain network of professional relationships within our industry.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years Field Project Management Experience in Pole Line Construction.
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to produce accurate, correct, and complete work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• PMP Certification
