EHR Project Manager, Sr. jobs in Birmingham, AL

Actalent is working with a local subcontractor (commercial construction) to identify a Sr. Project Manager, to promote into an Operations Manager. This position will support the company's growth by leading the PM team, multiple department heads and creating a company cohesiveness & streamlined approach for workflow between the departments.

The baseline requirements for this role, are that you have led a team of Project Managers in the Commercial Construction space and have implemented change (whether that be creating new processes, launching an ERP, identifying / restructuring workflow inefficiencies, etc).

Formal Description:

The overarching goal of this position is to unify multiple departments in the goal of delivering consistent, quality and timely results on every project that moves through operations. Responsible for leading the team of project managers by directing the project flow, assisting in complicated projects and working with the team on continuous improvement. The Operations Manager will also oversee the Installation and Design departments and their leads as direct reports to ensure the

customer a positive, industry-leading experience in the design, production and installation of their custom interior and exterior signage and experiential graphics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Engineering, Business or

related fields

- 5 years’ experience in construction or subcontracting, preference on a subcontractor that designs, makes, and installs, requiring multi-tasking in fast paced, deadline driven culture

- 3-5 years’ experience in leadership and management roles

- 5-10 years’ experience in project management, with experience implementing solutions and collaborating across departments to achieve desired outcomes

- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
