EHR Project Manager, Sr. is responsible for the coordination and completion of complex projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager, Sr. sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager, Sr. resolves any development issues or team member performance issues. Prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires EPIC Certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager, Sr. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an EHR Project Manager, Sr. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Vertiv is looking to hire a Sr. Project Manager, who will focus on development KVM and Serial  products.  

    Responsibilities:

    • Managing and overseeing a number of projects related to design and manufacturing of new products, including software development
    • New Product Development lifecycle; gathering requirements, creating specifications, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, product launch 
    • You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated new product development projects or strategic initiatives
    • You will be reviewing project charter, business case and requirements to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
    • You will confer with appropriate LOB offering management to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
    • You will establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for assignment of project personnel.
    • You will direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, business or equivalent experience
    • 5 - 10 years' experience in a program management type role, with an emphasis on new product development environment
    • Experience leading diverse geographical teams with different cultures, languages and backgrounds
    • Expertise in problem solving and decision making
    • PMP Certification preferred
    • Agile Certifications preferred
    • Strong knowledge project management standards and practices
    • Strong communication skills in English (oral and written) – you will be working closely with our international teams worldwide
