EHR Project Manager, Sr. jobs in Monterey, CA

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager/Project Architect to assist in a host of private and public projects. We are an established Architecture firm that has been in Monterey for over 60 years. Our clientele is primarily public and private educational facilities, with some commercial and multi-family residential work. This position would entail managing clients, consultants and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7-10 years of experience in architecture or related field
• B Arch or M Arch degree from a NAAB-accredited architecture program
• Demonstrated experience managing design projects from conception through construction
• Fluent with AutoCAD, MS Office, SketchUp (preferred but not required), Adobe Design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Lumion, Revit experience preferred
• An excellent communicator, who is not afraid to ask questions, and has experience working in a collaborative office environment - Hand illustrating a plus
• Excited to take on new responsibilities and has the ability and experience to manage up, down and across
• Active California Architects license preferred but not required
• CASp/Code Certification experience a plus

RESPONSIBILITES

• Oversee the design and construction of public and private projects
• Lead the design project and create project deliverables
• Prepare and coordinate drawings, details, and documentation for both design and construction - Specification writing experience a plus
• Work with principal architect (AOR) to ensure projects align with HGHB standards and reputation
• Plan, manage and monitor resource allocation
• Work with clients and consultants to determine project requirements
• Coordinate with AHJ through entitlement and permitting process - DSA experience a plus
• Direct staff in development of instruments of service
• Contribute to oversight and quality control by conducting peer reviews, ensuring that work produced has a high level of accuracy, consistency, and meets applicable codes
• Construction administration and jobsite visits to confirm design intent
• Contribute to company’s standards, templates, protocols and strategy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
