EHR Project Manager, Sr. is responsible for the coordination and completion of complex projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager, Sr. sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager, Sr. resolves any development issues or team member performance issues. Prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires EPIC Certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager, Sr. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an EHR Project Manager, Sr. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer with a passion for renewable energy to lead clients, projects, and portfolios as a Project Manager. The Project Manager will work closely with our core renewables team and will manage project responsibilities of multi-discipline teams and projects throughout the northeast.

    Qualified candidates will excel at contributing to all phases of Renewable Energy and other Civil Engineering projects including the development of schematic drawings, working within teams in a collaborative manner, producing effective and high-quality drawings to be issued for construction, steering projects through the municipal or state approval process, and supporting projects throughout construction as they progress to commissioning. The ability to communicate effectively using verbal, graphic, and written means is paramount and a necessity for this position.

    In addition, the Project Manager will assist with proposal writing and business development, and manage mid-level and entry-level staff.

    Duties

    • Responsible for planning, scheduling, developing, coordinating, directing, and managing a variety of renewable energy projects and portfolios.
    • Preparing various types of related reports and studies and securing local approvals and permits for projects.
    • Contribute to marketing of the firm and development of new business by initiating relationships with new clients, maintaining relationships with current clients, and key individuals of other organizations and companies.
    • Developing and evaluating plans and criteria for renewable energy projects as well as planning and coordinating activities to be carried out by others including in-house engineers, designers, and surveyors and outside specialty consultants.
    • Develop an understanding of local/state jurisdictional requirements for utility-scale, distributed generation and behind-the-meter renewable energy applications.
