Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is currently hiring a EHR Training Coordinator for Senior Options.

Senior Options is a nonprofit subsidiary of Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay. We help organizations compete in post-acute care by delivering turnkey solutions for home care, home health care, hospice services, and continuum management within and outside of their communities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

• Senior Options, EHR Project Coordinator will work alongside the Health Information Technology and interdepartmental teams to assist with the MatrixCare Home Health and Hospice EHR and interoperability solutions implementation for the Senior Options partner network.
• Project coordination and management, such as management of the activities, deliverables and schedules of Senior options resources across the project timeline for each partner location’s go-live. Attends weekly project management meetings with EHR vendor resources. 
• Communicates and follows up on assigned tasks for Senior Options and partners teams deliverables.
• Interfaces with Senior Options and partner leadership teams to communicate project status and proactively identify and work to resolve any risks or issues that might impact overall project timeline. 
• Coordinates interoperability/integration vendor(s) tasks and efforts to successfully implement 3rd party solution connections to the EHR specific to each partner location’s vendors. 
• Schedules training sessions with partner locations and organizes pre & post training calls and tasks. 
• Collaborates with the Director of Health Information Technology to assess changes to project scope as necessary. 
• Answers inquiries; i.e., email, calls and voicemail appropriately and in a timely manner according to Senior Options expectations. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 

• Some college education in health information, health care or information technology, preferred 
• Experience in electronic health records, required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• This function is generally performed in an Office environment. Performs some repetitive PC functions.
