EHR Project Manager, Sr. jobs in York, PA

Summary

The Project Manager will oversee a wide variety of construction projects from beginning to end working with subcontractors, engineers and architects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site evaluations/survey visits of new store locations/remodel projects as needed.

• Review drawings prior to permit submission and bidding to ensure accurate and up to date design specifications.

• Prepare preliminary construction schedule based on project and land development requirements.

• Work with In-House Development Team to uncover, define and report inefficiencies in a site to Sr. Director of Facilities & Development.

• Coordinate project bid process, review, qualify and awarding of projects.

• Manage coordination with Capital Expenditures team and approved vendors/contractors.

• Monitor construction progress via multiple site visits during the course of project timeline.

• Review and approve all construction invoices and change requests prior to payment.

•Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.

• Monitor and communicate budget summaries and manage change order process in coordination with Sr. Director of Facilities & Development.

• Oversee and coordinate turnover process, including all punch list responsibility, to operations, ensuring all items complete.

• Recap and distribute site visit audit and documentation.

• Manage post construction coordination with Facilities team.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management related degree.

• 5-7 years’ experience in Retail Construction Project Management.

• Experience estimating large-scale construction/remodel projects.

• Knowledge of retail construction and operational procedures, and plan development requirements.

• Extensive knowledge of construction means, methods and materials.

• Fundamental knowledge of building design.

• Ability to read & interpret construction drawings.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate construction requirements and plans across disciplines.

• Outstanding leadership, people & project management skills.

• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and project management systems.
