EMT/Paramedic Supervisor jobs in Hopkinsville, KY
EMT/Paramedic Supervisor supervises emergency medical staff consisting of EMTs, paramedics, and drivers. Administers the staff work schedule to ensure adequate coverage. Being an EMT/Paramedic Supervisor coordinates required training and development activities. Maintains activity logs and prepares required reports. Additionally, EMT/Paramedic Supervisor may require registry in NREMT. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Requires Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. Typically reports to a manager. The EMT/Paramedic Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an EMT/Paramedic Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Summary/Objective

- Managing budgets.
- Completes daily work orders and other projects within the AMS software system.
- Member of safety committee and attend weekly safety call.
- Review training of personnel and managers.
- Recruits, hires, terminates, and promotes personnel.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position oversees General Foreman, Crew Leaders, Crew Members, and assigned projects.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the Supervisor is working outdoors, exposed to all
temperatures, weather, and nature. The employee will be exposed to excessive noise.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an
employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The Supervisor enters and exits a vehicle numerous times per day. Personal protective equipment
(PPE) is required when working with the work zone. The employee must be able to lift, move,
