EMT/Paramedic Supervisor jobs in New London, CT
EMT/Paramedic Supervisor supervises emergency medical staff consisting of EMTs, paramedics, and drivers. Administers the staff work schedule to ensure adequate coverage. Being an EMT/Paramedic Supervisor coordinates required training and development activities. Maintains activity logs and prepares required reports. Additionally, EMT/Paramedic Supervisor may require registry in NREMT. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Requires Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. Typically reports to a manager. The EMT/Paramedic Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an EMT/Paramedic Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. - Direct back of house operations managing cooks
- Manage people and oversee production of high-volume establishment
- Use a POS system
- Ensure the safety, cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen
- Monitor cooking and chill temperatures
- Provide various support to all FOH and BOH staff during shifts, as needed.
- Develop and organize BOH through cleaning, maintenance, equipment care, and ordering and receiving.
- Oversee the kitchen staff while maintaining safety precautions
- Deal directly with FOH and bar management to resolve any issues.
