EMT/Paramedic Supervisor supervises emergency medical staff consisting of EMTs, paramedics, and drivers. Administers the staff work schedule to ensure adequate coverage. Being an EMT/Paramedic Supervisor coordinates required training and development activities. Maintains activity logs and prepares required reports. Additionally, EMT/Paramedic Supervisor may require registry in NREMT. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Requires Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. Typically reports to a manager. The EMT/Paramedic Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an EMT/Paramedic Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Will supervise Housekeeping staff and ensure all quality standards and company policies are followed. Duties include cleaning guest rooms and public areas to Marriott standards. Inspecting guest rooms for cleanliness and maintenance issues. Monthly inventory of chemicals and linen and communicate results to General Manager. Training new hires and ensure existing staff has required training. Washing, drying and folding laundry. Any other duties deemed necessary by management.
