ERP Administrator is responsible for the administration of an organization's ERP system to facilitate reliable performance, integrity, and security. Processes, validates, and maintains ERP data to ensure accurate system records. Being an ERP Administrator monitors ERP security and manages user access and permissions. Assists and supports the planning, testing, and deployment of new ERP modules, upgrades, and patches. Additionally, ERP Administrator documents ERP system processes and may conduct end-user training to promote effective use and best practices. Tracks and manages support requests to ensure timely resolution of issues or bugs. Maintains, generates, and analyses ERP reports to support organizational planning. Requires a bachelor's degree. Performs very complex programming work requiring an expert understanding of City information technology infrastructure. Consults with customer as a business partner in planning all aspects of information technology projects to meet future needs. Ensure the proper configuration, efficiency, and security of City applications. Assists with staff members in developing and implementing technical solutions. Establishes procedural standards and guidelines for work projects. Maintains knowledge of best practices. Performs other related work as assigned.
Information specific to the position:
Individuals in this position must have extensive knowledge of Infor applications and tools or experience with development/automation on other ERP platforms. Ability to collaborate with Business personnel pertaining to technical support and process improvement. Ability to lead technical conversations and consult with the vender where needed. Perform advanced-level work around design, development and automation. Knowledge of cloud based Data Warehouses and Relational Databases with the ability to build integrations/interfaces to move data between systems.
A Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Technology, or a related field and four (4) years of work experience related to the vacancy or a vacancy-related technical school certificate and six (6) years of work experience related to the vacancy.
May require a valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License, or equivalent out-of-state driver's license.

Eligible Lists Created from Open Job Posting: You must receive a score of 75% or higher to pass the assessment and be considered for the position. Non-promotion eligible lists typically are pass/fail and promotion eligible lists are typically ranked. If the open eligible list created contains a veteran, one open list will exist. When there are no veterans remaining on the eligible list (i.e. hired, withdrawn) from an open list that also contains promotional candidates, two lists will be created: one open list and one promotion list. If two lists exist, the promotion list must be exhausted before the open list is considered.
Final Selection Process: Those who pass will be placed on an eligible list for approximately six months and all will be notified of their status. A Hiring Manager will consider those applicants eligible for hire. You will be notified if you are invited to participate in the final selection process which may include an interview, job simulation, work sample submission, or other evaluation method.
Condition of Employment: This position requires a background check and may require a driver’s license check. Candidates will be required to submit proof of education to Human Resources upon conditional job offer.
