ERP Administrator is responsible for the administration of an organization's ERP system to facilitate reliable performance, integrity, and security. Processes, validates, and maintains ERP data to ensure accurate system records. Being an ERP Administrator monitors ERP security and manages user access and permissions. Assists and supports the planning, testing, and deployment of new ERP modules, upgrades, and patches. Additionally, ERP Administrator documents ERP system processes and may conduct end-user training to promote effective use and best practices. Tracks and manages support requests to ensure timely resolution of issues or bugs. Maintains, generates, and analyses ERP reports to support organizational planning. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Administrator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Overview

    In 2023, LBB Specialties successfully consolidated its seven distinct business units under the Epicor P21 platform. We are currently in search of a seasoned Epicor P21 specialist, with the aim of optimizing our platform's functionality to further enhance our user efficiency. The role encompasses managing an existing queue of enhancement requests, as well as collaborating closely with users to pinpoint and implement process improvements. Key tasks include executing Dynachange screen modifications, adding new fields, creating Report Studio reports, revising Crystal Reports, and formulating business rules—encompassing both requirement definition and design specification development for our programming team. A critical function of this position involves promptly addressing Epicor P21 support tickets and resolving user issues, ensuring smooth and efficient operation across our organization.


    Responsibilities

    • Provide advice and training to peers on Epicor processes and technical training.
    • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
    • Write C# business rules to run in Epicor P21.
    • Write code using Epicor’s Transaction API to support business process changes.
    • Write SQL scripts to extract data from Epicor P21, SQL Data Warehouse and MS Dynamics.
    • This role will be integral in the project through the stages from Plan – Design – Validate – Deploying the new system.


    Education and Experience

    • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
    • 1 year of working experience with Epicor Prophet 21 preferred, otherwise 3 years supporting a tier 1 or tier 2 ERP system.
    • 3 years working with T-SQL.
    • Experience with Crystal reports a plus.
    • Experience with APIs to read & write data from one system to another. JSON/XML.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Understanding of wholesale distribution including strong knowledge of general business processes such as inventory management, and order processing required.
