Our client in the automotive industry is looking for an Accountant to add to their team in Logan Township, NJ. You will be joining a small, family-oriented company where you will have the ability to make a noticeable impact on the company’s future. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the analytical review of financial information and will coordinate and monitor platforms that manage the data. In addition to that, you will ensure the accuracy of all financial records, like month and year-end close, taxes, and ERP reporting. To be successful in this role, you must be dedicated, hard-working, and a strong team player. Accountant (ERP exp req) Responsibilities
• Assist in month-end and year-end close process
• Coordinate and monitor financial reporting procedures
• Work with accounting personnel
• Perform relevant financial reporting tasks timely and accurately
• Maintain processes that facilitate analytical review of financial information
• Provide guidance for special reporting requirements (like tax and footnote disclosures)
• Coordinate annual group dividend planning, debt limits, and capital structure review process
• Process and validate all system interfaces feeding the ERP financial reporting package
• Ensure all changes are correctly captured by the ERP
• Ensure proper ERP utilization by accounting
• Work with Finance personnel to identify improvements, weaknesses, and accounting issues
• Prepare documentation of new and/or existing processes and policies
• Perform hard-close and year-end Accounting and Tax Reporting
Accountant (ERP exp req) Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 2 years of accounting experience required
• Strong GAAP accounting knowledge required
• Knowledge of tax reporting and preparation required
• ERP experience required
• Must be computer savvy
