ERP Analyst analyzes business needs and processes to assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Being an ERP Analyst acts as liaison between the development teams and business stakeholders to ensure that ERP solutions align with business objectives. Documents business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps to serve as a reference for the organization. Additionally, ERP Analyst analyzes system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities to improve processes and ERP functionality. Generates and monitors regular reports to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of ERP applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager.     Client, working remotely, is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join their team on a contract basis for the next 4 months (possibly contract-to-hire for the right candidate). 4 month commitment is required.

    Role Description:
    Our client is looking for an Accounting Analyst who is detail-oriented and can work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. They will be responsible for preparing invoices, issuing payments, updating recurring financial trackers, and reconciling accounts to ensure timely payment and sufficient cash levels. Also, they will coordinate efforts to resolve client invoice issues and provide timely, accurate reports of billing data.
    Duties:
    • Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments.
    • Manage the status of accounts and create weekly aging reports distributed to Senior Leadership.
    • Issue and post bills, receipts, and invoices.
    • Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments.
    • Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines.
    • Facilitate and maintain communication required to keep accounts in good standing.
    • Complete daily tasks of updating the cash tracker, invoice trackers and other necessary files.
    • Proactively initiate and drive automation or process improvement efforts.
    • Create and update Purchase Orders in Accounting Software.
    • Assist in monthly close process as needed.
    • Compile necessary information and organize data.
    • Perform ad hoc analysis and tasks as requested.

    Education and Experience Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; or six (6) plus years experience.
    • Requires at least two (2) years related experience, preferably in the energy services industry.
    • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, financial statements and reports, accounting ledgers, and computer technology related to accounting systems.
    • Experience with QuickBooks preferred.

    Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:
    • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are critical.
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel).
    • Strong teamwork, problem solving, and training skills are essential.
    • Considerable skill in effective verbal and written communications.
    • Highly motivated, positive attitude, self-directed.
