Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced ERP Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on systems buildout from the ground up. In this role, you will foster strong relationships with business stakeholders, leveraging your deep understanding of our business operations and technology landscape. Your responsibilities will include documenting stakeholder requirements for system enhancements, collaborating with developers and vendors, and ensuring successful delivery of technical projects. As a subject matter expert, you will guide the development of new capabilities, oversee testing processes, and facilitate seamless communication between all parties involved. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can lead projects, drive results, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate productive relationships with business stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, strategies, costs, and timelines.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of our technology platforms, including their functionalities, configurations, and data models.
• Capture detailed business requirements, use cases, and process flows, collaborating closely with application developers.
• Generate necessary documentation to facilitate accurate estimation, technical approach, and project delivery.
• Contribute to the enhancement of our requirements documentation and project execution processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to estimate labor, conduct gap analysis, and deploy system functionality.
• Coordinate with IT staff to communicate, verify, and test desired system changes.
• Ensure all business needs are met through effective demonstration of system changes.
• Assist in the development of training materials for newly deployed functionality.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively, ensuring organizational goals are met.
• Report technical issues and make recommendations to the technical team.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance business practices and technology platforms.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and change management initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Skilled at communicating and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (minimal).
• Required: Minimum 5 years of experience as a business analyst in an enterprise technology environment, with experience in stakeholder management.
• Preferred: Technical proficiency, especially with ERP systems, ETL, and databases. Familiarity with PDI or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
• Must be able to work in-office in Northern Baltimore at least 3 days per week.
